另某高就的辛酸

从决定再另某高就的那刻开始,共递上了多过三十封理历表,除了工作介绍人的一次面试外,根本没有一家公司对我的背境有兴趣.不管我在马来西亚的职位有多高.理历表改了无数次,自我推荐信也改了再改.还好没灰心,习已为常,妄天不负有心人,就这一次,我被应邀出席第一次的面试.John Lewis 给了我这个机会.John Lewis 同 M&S 同阶级,都有同样中上收入的客户.如果真能过关,哇...前途无量咯!! 可要从底做起.这难不倒我.John Lewis 的邀请信:

Dear candidate,

Thank you for your application to the John Lewis Partnership, applying for Buying Administrator and Merchandising Administrator positions.

We would like to invite you to attend an aptitude test, which is the first stage of the recruitment process for these roles. This aptitude test will measure both your numerical and verbal reasoning skills. The aptitude test is held at our head office at 171 Victoria Street, London and will last approximately an hour and a half.

Please find below a list of upcoming aptitude test dates. If you would like to progress your application please respond to this email indicating your preferred date for the aptitude test.


Wednesday 17 October - 1.15
Wednesday 24 October 12.15
Thursday 1 November - 9.15

Once you have confirmed your preferred date further details will be sent to you nearer the time.
